A new Franciscan Challenge is about to begin!
Later this month, an all-new Franciscan Challenge will launch with five thought-provoking video testimonials from those who come to the friars in desperate need of help. Recorded on-location at Franciscan ministries in the U.S. and abroad, these raw, emotional videos will give an unfiltered look at what we compassionately do for EVERYONE. EVERY. DAY. New to the Challenge will be a gripping sixth video that will feature a compilation of brave women who come to us for food, shelter, and safety from physical abuse.
As Franciscan Friars Charities’ most wide-ranging and personalized fundraising campaign, the Franciscan Challenge is a virtual extension of our cherished Franciscan values, as it begs for those too busy surviving to beg for themselves; builds bridges between hunger and hope, despair and dignity; and ‘challenges’ supporters and benefactors to perform the small acts of kindness that make a big difference in the lives of those in need.
Imagine being unable to feed or shelter your children or being sick with no hope for medical care or compassion. The Franciscan Challenge helps us bring our ministry of kindness to the children, women, and men who endure these harsh realities.
Funds raised by the Franciscan Challenge will bring food, clothing, and basic life necessities to the millions who come to us each year for help; assist in educating young friars; and care for elderly friars who have cared for so many for so long.
