Planned Giving
Fulfilling the Promises of June via Planned Giving

June is often a time when we begin lifetime promises. It is when we frequently celebrate weddings and ordinations to the priesthood. Graduations in this season also unleash the hope of new beginnings and future commitments.

At this time of marking promises, we invite you to provide for another kind of promise by creating a lasting legacy of care for the poor and marginalized by remembering the Franciscan

Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in your will or trust.

Your legacy gift will allow us to continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need, to educate young friars, and to care for elderly friars who have served so many for so long.

St. Francis said, “For it is in giving that we receive.” Please consider remembering the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in your will or trust – and join us in our mission to serve the poor.

Planned Giving to the Franciscans allows you to make a charitable contribution as part of your overall financial and estate planning. You can do this in a variety of ways, including bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance policies and retirement accounts. Through these vehicles you can designate a part of your assets to the work of the friars. Think of it as your living memorial, your promise to serve God’s poor via the ministries of the Franciscans.

To learn more about how you can help the Franciscan Friars help our poor and marginalized sisters and brothers with your legacy gift, contact Brian Smail, OFM, via email at bsmail@friars.us or by calling 646-473-0265, ext. 303.
